Online and Printed Directory Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Rumson Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) Online and Printed Directory. The Rumson PTO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Rumson PTO recognizes the importance to its members of the discreet and confidential handling of their personal contact information. The Online and Printed Directory is accessible ONLY to PTO members of the current school year (defined as an individual or family who has paid the annual membership fee). As a general principle, the Rumson PTO will not use personal information for a purpose other than the creation of the Online Directory (accessed through the Rumson PTO website, www.rumsonschoolpto.com and the mobile application by Paperless PTO,) and a Printed Directory (reproduced by the Rumson PTO in bound form for sale to current PTO members only, or personal copy printed by a current Rumson PTO member), unless the Rumson PTO has obtained consent for such use.
No part of the Online or Printed Directory may be reproduced or transmitted in any form in any means, except that each current member of the Rumson PTO will have the option of printing one (1) personal copy of the Online Directory for their own personal use. Each current member of the Rumson PTO will have the option to utilize the mobile application provided by Paperless PTO (accessible on smart phones or tablets) or purchase a Printed Directory (reproduced in limited quantities and sold only to current Rumson PTO members). The contents of the Online and Printed Directory may not be used for any commercial purpose. The Rumson PTO is not responsible for the reproduction or misuse of personal information by any of its PTO members in violation of the Rumson PTO Privacy Policy.
